I want to lift the front of my 620i 1".
Is it as simple as loosening the two bolts, jacking the body up, dropping the bushing in and then lower and tighten?
It seems too simple a process. What am I missing?
Thanks,
Dave

It turns out the answer is no-it's not that easy.
It is close though.
My brake lines are not long enough to let the A arm drop free of the shock.

Actually I never put bushings in. I loosened the 2 bolts on each strut, jacked it up under the front diff, got the spacing I wanted (about 3/4") and that got me 1-1.5 inches lift. I just cinched the bolts up tight and it never moved. Best of all it was free. You can kind of see the lift on my old 620i.

Thanks for the info.
I followed your suggestion this evening and then went out for a quick spin in the pasture. All good and lifted.

Don't raise it up too far it will put stress on your axles. Post pics! I'd like to see the dirt line where it was to where you have them set at now on your strut too.

Will do.
I raised it 3/4" per your recommendation.
I will try to remember to take a pic when I return home.
