On the 825i I see there is a kit for roof mounted lights. Mine has the poly roof and I am considering adding the roof lights.
The poly roof has a pocket or shelf molded in that looks to be a good place for lights except that it is so floppy since this part is not really supported.

Does the JD kit for the roof lights simply bolt to the floppy roof or does it go through the roof and attach to the roll bar?
(edit) This is the kit called the Mid-Range Light Kit.

Thanks

I don't know where JD installs their lights but I can almost guarantee they don't let them flop around. On my 550 I used the same bolt that attaches the roof and has proven to be quite solid.

Thank you for the reply. I do appreciate the picture. Your roof is somewhat different from the 825i OPS Poly Roof. The 825i roof pocket where it looks as if the lights should go, is several inches in front of the roll bar and there appears to be no way to reach the roll bar unless there is some sort of bracing system.

And that is my question, does the 825i Med-Range Kit come with some sort of brace system or simply mount to the floppy roof front?

Thank you

It just mounts through the roof with washers

Moving livestock this last week make me even more eager to get some good lights.
