Just received my JD OPS Poly Roof (BM23063) for my 2013 825i. I cannot get it to install. The top does not line up wit the frame. Did the part number change for the Poly Roof for the 2013 825i Gator? If not, I'd appreciate any installation hints. Thanks

That's the right part # from what I see online. Mine went on pretty slick.....I just flipped my clamps open....put the roof in place and then fastened my clamps. Are the clamps not even close to your roll cage?

No. The front clamps are about an inch wider than the space on the front bar between the OPS connection supports. The rear of the top won't even come down to the bar. The OPS flanges on the back prevent the top from seating properly. THe top came in JD Box with the BM23063 part number. The only thing making me suspect a change was the price. I expected $400 plus, but this one cost me closer to $250.

If the part number is correct, then either the wrong part was in the box, or the wrong OPS was installed on my Gator. I'll check with the dealer who sold me the top in the morning. If that doesn't resolve this, I'll take a tape to my local dealer and do some measuring. I'm really disappointed. Thought I'd have my top on for the weekend.

I did a search for part # BM23063 and it came back for a poly roof for a HP Gator not the 825i.

I was able to get to the bottom of this earlier today. BM23063 is the top for Gator XUV 825i through 2012. In 2013, the OPS changed, and so did the top. The new number is BM24115. Here's the info for that part ...
Product attributes
• Provides all-year-round weather protection to the operator and passenger when a Gator™ XUV or HPX is equipped with an operator protection system (OPS)
• One-piece ABS roof easily attaches/detaches to the OPS quick-clamp mounting system
• Useful for minimizing sun exposure to the operator, passenger, and vehicle operating station
• Molded-in water troughs route water away from the operator and passenger
• Acts as the foundation to build an OPS poly full enclosure (designed to work with the OPS poly full windshield kit and OPS poly rear panel and doors kit)
• Compatible with all model year 2013 – current HPX, XUV 625i, XUV 825i, and XUV 855D Utility Vehicles when equipped with an OPS
Sounds a lot like the 23063, except for the last bullet.

Emnesto,
Where did you find the info on the top? I have a 2011 825i and saw the dealer has a BM23063 for $263 but was not sure if it would fit my machine. What I read on the JD site it just said HPX and do not want to order the top unless I am sure it is the right one. I saw a top for the 500's but they were a lot different than the ones for the 625 and 825, they did not have a recess for lights and they were smaller.
Thanks,
Dave

I have a copy of the Gator Attachments brochure. Saw OPS Poly Roof - Black for $404 on page 8. It was part number BM23063 and says it is the top for "All XUVs/HPX". Checking the Internet, I found BM23063 for about $250. Sounded like a good deal, so I jumped on it. There was an opportunity for "Customer Notes" on the online order form. I wrote, "If this is not the top for 2013 XUV 825i Gator, call me before shipping". No call, but the top arrived about 10 days later. When I let them know it did not fit, the dealer learned about the change for 2013 825i's.

When I was shopping for my gator yesterday, I compared a 2012 and 2013 and had seen your post previously. The seat belt mounting is definitely different between 2012 and 2013. On the 2012, it is anchored to a plate in the corner of the OPS frame and on 2013 it is anchored to the UPOS frame. I could not spot other differences on how they mounted.
