I know this has been talked about a lot here.
I have a real problem getting my 2011 825i into reverse/drive but only after I've been running a while.
Have to lift the bed and work the linkage to get into drive or reverse. Could there be some kind of heat issue?

Mine is a 2011 and also is/was hard to shift until they changed the clutch, everything is fine now, It was on there dime. the warranty runs out next month.
