TS Bed Lift Questions

I recently bought a used 2006 "TS" Gator & would like to add an electric lift kit, but don't like the $700 price tag! Can anybody tell me the dimensions of the electric actuator for these? Length closed & stroke length, weight capacity?

I can get a 1000# 14" (retracted length) actuator from Surplus Center for around $250. But not sure this is the one I need. Any suggestions?

I found the correct actuator on ebay for $350, turned out to be "plug & play", works great!

Now I need a picture of the heat shield & where it's fastened. ~~ Lowell

Any one had any luck finding a alternative bed lift kit for a TH Gator 2012 . The JD part# is BM23759 . I would be happy with an after market one - just don't want to pay 800-1,000 for oem.
