There was a great article with pix on replacing the drive belt on a 620i and I need to replace ours. But, I, like the author of that thread, think it's a good idea to replace both clutches at the same time but I can't find the part numbers. Anyone have them and also, will a standard gear puller to get the driving pully system off or does JD have a special one? Thanks for any help.
You can look up parts on the John Deere website and Dowda Tractor (http://www.dowdatractor.com/OemParts#) as well. You can remove the drive clutch without the removal tool if you work carefully but if you're not careful you can bend the engine crank. The removal tool is a long, funny shaped bolt that you thread into the hole in the center of the clutch. As you tighten it it pulls the clutch off the shaft by pushing on the center of the crank shaft.
