Hey all!
New 6x4 owner. I brought it back from the dead. Seized engine, blown radiator end tanks, dry rotted tires, a little crusty, but nothing too horrible. Pics below (I hope they attach from the iPhone.)
A few questions for the experienced..
1.) can you stand the 6x4 on its tail gate to undercoat the frame and floor boards before they're gone to sh!t?
2.) a little noise while on the gas uphill. Sounds like a groan, not the typical belt squeal. I lubed up the chains tonight, and will drive it tomorrow to see if it's improved.
3.) are there any grease fittings on the drive axles? I'm talking about the actual hib and spline drive outside the frame rails. I greased the spline from the gear case, but those are the only fittings I've seen so far.
