I just found this forum, and I am in need of help! First off, I knew I had a torn outer axle boot. I got the new ordered and is sitting here. I have changed lots of automotive boots, but not having much luck getting this one apart. I have the axle out of the hub, but haven't gotten it out of the transaxle yet. Then how do you get the CV joint apart?
My next issue is the clutch tried to slide off of the transaxle input shaft. I got it slid back on, but lost the bolt, and whatever else hold it on.
I have to say, when we got the Gator in January, I thought they were nuts, but in 10 months time, I have put over 400 hours on it. I use it for everything. What an AWESOME machine!!
