Parking brake problem?

Hey all. Today I stopped my gator facing up a hill, left it in gear, and put the brake on. Was getting ready to dump a load when I heard a noise and my gator about ran over me going backward down the hill. Luckily I was able to run to the door and get it open and get my foot on the brake. The noise I heard was the parking brake releasing. So my question is has anyone had a problem with their emergency brake releasing on its own? Thanks for any responses.

My 825i brake seems to engage at very end of its range (little margin) yet the brake indicator comes on at the opposite end of the movement.

My 825 was about the same.
