unkown gator

Hi all, I may be unhelpable. I know NOTHING about gators but I bought one off ebay.seller told me different stories about year and engine size.He said he bought a few from a JD. dealer that was going out. I thought I would check serial # when it got here.No # can I find. where should it be? Ive looked everywhere I know.Its an older model trail gator is all I know.rectangular head lights, power bed, round hour meter, 5 lights in dash emerg.brake and diff. lock are 2 of them,. the rest are empty.Is there any way I can tell what I have.Seller would be no help Im sure.thanks guys

Got a pic? The serial number tag on my Gator is on the right side frame rail slightly behind the seats.


I gotta say the seller sounds shady,...to buy a bunch of Gators from a dealer going out doesn't sound legit, I would be concerned that the Gator was stolen myself.
