6x4 lots of vibration

Can anyone help, got a 6x4 gator to fix up, secondary clutch has some buttons missing but part from that I can't seem to find the fault, with drive belt off the engine runs nice and smooth but when I put the belt back on as soon as you hit the throttle the whole thing from engine up vibrates like made?
people keep telling me that the primary clutch needs adjustment? can this be done?

It sounds like you need to have both primary and secondary clutches rebuilt or replaced if the primary is worn bad, You will also need to replace the drive belt because the old one is worn along with the original clutches. You can remove them and take to your dealer and have them looked at by someone that has worked on them.
