Need held identifying gator

I have a dark green HPX 4x4 gasoline gator with the data plate missing is there any other place I can find the serial number and or the year model? I think it is 2001 based on what my dad was told when he got the thing. Does that sound logical? Ie was the HPX 4x4 made in 2001?
