The 3000lb Badland Winch is about twice as much as the 2000lb (now rated at 2500lb) at half the price. The only diffence in the 2 Winches is the 3000lb has 3/16 wire cable and the 2500lb has 5/32 wire cable. The the 3000lb is a tad faster but not much. If you switch the cable on the 2500lb Badland Winch to 3/16 synthetic cable you have virtually the same winch. This winch will surprise you on it's capability. It far surpassed what I thought the winch would do. Well worth the $$$$
