Help: Back wheel want turn.

I bought a 2009 JD Gator TE about a month ago & I knew the batteries would need
replacing soon. It only takes it about 4 hrs. to full charge but the charge only last an hour
or so. Yesterday it got so weak that my wife had to switch it off & leave it. We went back
with a tow rope to pull it some 200 yards back home & the back tire (wheel) on the driver
side would drag but not turn. What could this be? Help Please.

No replies, Wow thought someone on here would have known that there is a tago switch to flip when towing.
A friend at a golf cart repair shop told me to look for this. The tow switch is under the drivers seat.

My Gator has no such feature or switch.
