So on my 2013 825i, after going through mud, about axle depth, I get this terrible squeal from the tire are. It used to be in the front now it is in both the rear and front. It seems like metal on metal and goes away after a little while. Just wondering if any one else has had this happen to them. Is there bearings , I would assume on the hubs where the drive axle goes through. I looked an was not sure, but did find a nice little pocket where dirt and other items can collect in a little cavity by the axle, and hub. If there is a bearing, does it need to be removed and greased once in a while, or can a zerk fitting be installed? Any insight would be appreciated.
