Installed the JD Front and Rear CV Guard Kits (BM24463 and BM22962) this past weekend. The installation was very easy and only required two 13mm wrenches (or sockets) to remove originals and install the new guards. Didn't even need to elevate the Gator to do so.

As you can see by the pictures below they do provide more protection over the plastic guards that come standard.

Passenger Rear with stock guard removed:

Passenger Rear with New Guard Kit:
3352

I have them and already think it has saved me. I have pulled sticks out several times. Those sticks sometimes just snap and fly under the vehicle.

Bunky, last year while spending the week at camp, I got a piece of crushed stone wedged into the wheel of 1 tire. Put these on myself over this past winter & you are right, these CV Guards are so much better protection than the plastic ones.

How much where they? And is JD only place you can get them?

I paid $114.17 for each set from an online source. Plus they had a $10 coupon and free shipping. Saved about $40 from what my local dealer quoted for the set. I'm only aware of JD selling them.
