825i Drive Belt Change

Any tips on changing out the drive belt on a 2011 825i?
Haven't started anything yet, seems like you can get to it fairly easily.
How do you know you have iton right, to tight, not tight enough, before you close everything up?

When the engine is off the belt will be loose. Gators use a CVT type transmission. The sides of both pulleys move in and out depending on conditions. The moving side plates of the pulleys changes their effective diameter and there is no belt tensioning in the traditional sense.

Only tough part on the job was slipping the cover out....it's a snug fit....borderline battle:lol:
