Gator Steering Wheel Renoval

I bought an EZ Steer, unit formy 2013 625i, and I want try and remove the steering wheel, however, I also want to remove the fake horn ring without damage......I'm assuming the plastic ring prys off, is this correct?? Thanks......

Well, I removed my steering wheel TWICE!!! E Z Steer is installed, BUT.......it doesn't work! I followed the wiring instructions, but no red light for 1 second, and no assisted steering. Am I missing something??? 2013 625i
