What kind of winch is on it? Did you need a winch plate from JD to mount it? Could you post up some pics of the winch area and sorry to hear about having to get rid of it! Thats a very well optioned Gator and a great price to boot!

rbm62 I live about thirty miles south of Atlanta and yes I do have the title and I will send you a PM. Dieselsmith, it is a Viper 5000 # with synthetic winch line,believe it or not I have seen better durability with these than I have with Warns. It is mounted on a JD plate and it tucks away very nicely with nothing protruding but the hook. Thanks, BLW

Ok, where did you get the plate and how much was it? Winch came from motoalliance I take it? I asked the dealer about the mount plate and they are clueless. Do you have the part number?

The John Deere 825i intergrated mounting plate uses the following parts, 03M7381 bolt 2ea, M162101 spacer 2ea, 14M7396 locknut 7ea, 19M7866 screw 3ea, M161332 bracket 1ea, 03M7185 bolt 2ea, AM140515 bracket winch mount 1ea. All the parts combined run about $120.00. I have not found any aftermarket integrated mounts available. The mounting plate footprint is designed for the Warn RT30 winch.

Sweet! I couldn't find anything about it. Dealers don't know anything but that is kinda pricy, I wonder if it is sold in a kit? That would surely be cheaper.

It only comes as a kit with the winch, I cropped the picture so you could see just the winch mount. I think the complete kit runs about $700.00. The most economical way to add one to the 825 is to buy a 2" receiver hitch winch plate, sportsmansguide has them for about $25 and a 3k superwinch for $150.00.

Is this unit still for sale and where in Georgia is it located?

I had the JD winch mount and some of the bigger winches won't fit in that bracket. The 5000lb viper winch is a lot wider than a 3000lb. How did you get it fit? Viper must not be a wide spool for the 5000lb that is the only thing I can think of. Hey also are you willing to part with the rear protection setup. bumper and side guards?

QUESTION: The OP says he has a title. Is he referring to a MANUFACTURER'S CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN? Does Georgia require GATORs to be titled? Interesting information here??????
