There are two on the farm. One for parts and the other for running fence. We have a customer by wrights town that has a amt 600 and a 622. I think all together I know of 7 amt's of the varios models around our area.

Add another one to the list. I've just picked one up cheap that's in fairly good condition for its age. Got a solenoid on the way and it needs brakes. I've read where the mechanical brakes on these were bad and the parts are hard to come by too. I've found a set of pads for 170 bucks for 2 pair but I'm not sure if its worth it. I'm thinking about modifying a hydraulic set from a quad or something. Anybody try this?

I bought one in the 80's -- the wife has put more hours on this than I can think -- if the weather is good the AMT is running- over the years I've replaced Air cleaner, plugs, seat, hydra res. tank, fuel lines, carb fuel line boss broke JB welded that back together, brake pads (the brakes are a nitemare DO NOT Open calipers) it use a self adjusting mech. disc brake caliper (2) with a parking brake feature. If it had a better brake setup I would buy another AMT 600 again in a minute.
