    transaxle leak on turf gator

Hi, I'm new to the forum, but have a couple older turf gators that need attention.

First, let me know if this is the best forum to post for this model please!!!

I've got oil leaking from the transaxle. It appears to be leaking around the opening for the secondary clutch shaft. I'm particularly worried since the rear end seems to be making a whining noise when driving. Anybody know if there is a seal on this shaft that is relatively easy to service or is this going to get ugly??

    thanks

First I would jump into JD parts and see exactly what is there, you may find that you can pull the clutch and get at the seal at that location and pull it out and pop in a new one. Keep an eye on the fluid level and add when needed.
