I have a friend that has the 560e and he wanted me to look at it for him. He had a stroke and work on it.
Anyway, it appears to need a starter solenoid. Deere wants $200 for a solenoid.
I was wondering if anyone had replaced theirs with a Briggs unit and if so, do you know the part number?
From what I can figure out for now the Deere P/N is UC19775. I would like to save him some money if possible.
When the solenoid failed on my Deere tractor I was able to locate a replacement. At the time Deere didn't sell just the
solenoid for it. They sold a whole starter but I think they sell just the solenoid now.
